Mads Nipper is the Chair of global mining equipment supplier FLSmidth. With over 30 years of CEO and senior leadership experience, he has held executive roles at world-leading companies across branded consumer goods (LEGO Group), industrial manufacturing (Grundfos), and renewable energy (Ørsted A/S).
Mads has also served in non-executive board roles across various industries and ownership structures, including as a member of the advisory board for Danish private equity firm Axcel. He brings extensive expertise in innovation, growth, large-scale infrastructure, and long-term value creation, consistently leading high-performance teams while balancing strong financial performance with sustainability leadership.
He holds an MSc from Aarhus University and San Francisco State University. Recognized for his leadership, Mads was named Denmark’s Leader of the Year in 2019 and has been knighted by the Queen of Denmark.
